When you’ve been prescribed a medicine like SKYRIZI, you’re likely to have lots of questions, and you might not remember to ask them all when you’re with your doctor.
SKYRIZI 150 mg pre-filled Pen still has the same active ingredient and you will receive the same amount of medicine in each dose, so it will continue to work for you in the same way as before. It’s the same medicine and the same dose, just in one injection instead of two. You should continue to take your SKYRIZI as per your doctor’s instructions.
The cost of the prescription for the 150 mg presentation of SKYRIZI will continue to be the standard co-payment price for PBS subsidised medicines, just like it is for the 2 x 75 mg prescription. The co-payment price is adjusted on 1 January each year in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
You should continue to use your existing supply of SKYRIZI unless informed otherwise. You will need a new prescription from your doctor for the 150 mg pre-filled Pen.
No extra appointment is required. When you next visit your dermatologist for your SKYRIZI prescription, they will give you a script for the SKYRIZI 150 mg pre-filled Pen.
You will need a new script for the SKYRIZI 150 mg pre-filled Pen. You can continue with your current SKYRIZI prescription until you see your dermatologist again.
